This Wild Space is a small garden of approximately 75 square metres, consisting of a flowering lawn, flower beds, raised vegetable bed and a patio with pots. A variety of nectar plants were chosen to provide a mix of early and later flowering, with plants located in the sunniest area of the garden to help attract butterflies and moths.
Flowering lawn seed sown over grass included Red Clover, Self-heal, Bird’s-foot Trefoil, Oxeye Daisy and Cowslip and caterpillar food and nectar plants planted include Nasturtium, Marjoram, Lavender and Verbena.
