This Wild Space was created in a medium-large private garden on a suburban housing estate, a short distance from local woods. It includes an area of wildflower grass, mature shrubs, borders, vegetable patch, fruit trees and hedgerow.
No pesticides were used and areas of grass are kept at different lengths on rotation.
Actions taken to create the space included stopping mowing a large area, planting seasonal herbaceous plants, fruit trees and plugs of Cowslips, Bird's-foot Trefoil and Marjoram.
