Patio

Patios and area of decking can make excellent Wild Spaces to help butterflies and moths. A variety of plants in pots or tubs (or even a small tree) can provide food for caterpillars and nectar for adult butterflies throughout the spring and summer. Leaving a small area of leaves and twigs can also provide refuge and shelter over the winter months. We encourage all patios (and all Wild Spaces) to peat and pesticide free.
