You can visit our website without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. However, If you choose to submit a record of a Wild Space to us you will be asked to create an account. Accounts are created on Natural Apptitude’s Coreo platform (https://coreo.io/). To create and operate an account on the Wild Spaces website we will request and store the following personal information:
- Full name
- Email address
We will also ask you for the location of your Wild Space. This will be used to locate other Wild Spaces around you, but will not be visible to other users.
We use information we collect to:
- Enable you to operate a Wild Spaces account including, but not limited to:

Records
The Wild Spaces website enables you record and share information about the Wild Space you have created and to share experiences in building and maintaining your Wild Space;
Your records will be stored according to the Butterfly Conservation Data Retention Policy and used by the charity Butterfly Conservation in reporting Wild Space development across the UK.
Butterfly Conservation complies with Data Protection legal requirements and is registered under the General Data Protection Regulations 2016 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. Natural Apptitude is registered with the ICO.
Your information will only be shared as laid out above or when there is a specific purpose bound by law or contract, for example to our partner mailing house to send membership renewals or magazines etc. Use of your personal data for this purpose is strictly controlled and you will only ever be sent information from Butterfly Conservation or Butterfly Conservation Trading Ltd subject to legal basis.
